Be A Sport Campaign E-mail
"Sport has the power to change the world, the power to inspire.  The power to unite people in a way that little else can. Sport can create hope. It is an instrument of peace". Nelson Mandela.

With over thirty three percent of Australian families depending on welfare for survival, is it any wonder we have so many children from impoverished backgrounds not having the opportunity to learn social and friendship skills, or the opportunity to build self esteem like kids of other families.

As in the past the AFL Xmen are up to the challenge of giving impoverished Australian children an opportunity to improve their lives by launching the 21012

"Be a Sport Campaign"

What is the "Be a Sport Campaign"?

  1. Giving the impoverished child a sense of belonging by paying for team registration fees and providing them with sporting apparel to compete in sporting activities, just like all the other kids.
  2. Providing impoverished children with a 2012 AFL Membership, club of choice, as a change of environment and exposure to new life experiences.

A Cross section of Corporate, Business and Individual Supporters in 2011.
